Cyprus is an amazing country steeped in history dating back over 9000 years. Blessed with spectacular scenery, sun kissed beaches, tranquil villages and the impressive Troodos Mountains, Cyprus has something for everybody. Beach

Cyprus is the third largest island in the Mediterranean and whilst some areas have become very developed and would not appeal to our usual discerning customers, the island is so large that there are plenty of unspoilt areas waiting to be discovered. We've tracked down the secret Cyprus, the unspoilt parts that retain their traditional flavour and offer you the chance to experience the true "Spirit of Cyprus."

Temple of ApolloIf lounging on a pristine beach, swimming in crystal clear waters, feasting on sumptuous traditional Cypriot fare or just relaxing by your pool isn't enough, then there are a host of fascinating historical sights to visit. The Temple of Apollo, pictured right, is found three kilometres west of the ancient ruined city of Kourion. Apollo was a significant deity of ancient Greek religion - the God of light, sun, poetry, music, and of the woodland, as well as protector of the city of Kourion itself.

For those that want to experience the "real" real Cyprus we've teamed up with Cyprus Villages, a company that specialises in renovating old properties in the more traditional villages. Properties are often over 300 years old but have been restored to such a high standard without compromising on the original structures and features that we were left literally open mouthed when we saw them and knew that our clients would just love them.
Horse riding

The properties are a short drive to the sea so beaches are at hand but for the more adventurous horse riding, biking and walking tours are all available.

Other available activities include fishing with local fishermen, visiting a goat farm and watching the preparation of halloumi cheese and in the winter, take part in the olive harvest and learn to make olive oil.

sunsetFrom luxury villas with private pools in quaint coastal villages to renovated mountain village houses to friendly beach side hotels all in unspoilt, traditional areas we think we've found the real Cyprus away from the tourist hordes where you can experience and savour the true "Spirit of Cyprus."
